CISSP
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®), the premier security certification created and administered by the International Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC²). CISSP holders have the necessary skills and best practices to provide leadership in the creation and execution of enterprise-wide security infrastructures. Most of your Security Officers in Government Agencies and Public Companies hold a CISSP.
The goal of the course is to prepare professionals for the challenging CISSP certification exam, covering the objectives of the exam as defined in the (ISC)2 CBK. CISSPs are expected to have a broad range of skills across security policy development and management, as well as technical understanding of a wide range of security controls across all disciplines within information security.
CISSP requirements
Before you can try to earn CISSP® certification, you must make sure that you qualify to take the CISSP® exam. The CISSP® accreditation is for IT professionals with information security experience. Candidates are required to have a minimum of three years of experience in one or more of the 10 topic areas that the exam covers.
The CISSP® exam
The CISSP® exam covers the following 10 IT security subjects, which (ISC)² refers to as test domains:
The CISSP® exam itself consists of 250 multiple-choice questions, and you're given six hours to complete it. Our training not only covers everything that you’ll need to study but also over 400 test questions in the context of our training. And at the end of your CISSP training, there are an additional 5 practice exams with 50 test questions in each which are as close to the actual exams as possible.
